Pardon the interruption
I'll be starting work at a company called Datamonitor on the 30th. The last 6 weeks have been just crazy with lots of interviews and all the things that go along with moving life along, but hopefully things will start to settle down soon. At this point I owe lots of letters and other related things, and I'll work to get things done soon. I promise. I'll also try and update more frequently here.
In that vein, this weekend was lots of fun, and I have a number of birthday shoutouts to make. Sherlee on the 15th, Joe on the 16th, Maureen on the 18th, Shannon and Jess on the 19th, and May tomorrow. Happy birthday to you all!
Congrats on finding a job you like enough to accept! Sorry we didn't manage to connect in the city on Saturday - we ended up eating 'til relatively late, and then wandering slowly downtown until Jeremy and I hit the theater district for our show. Next time, though...
I need to add my congratulations to you. I hope that you enjoy the job and that it takes you where you want to go.
Cheers from downunder.
PS Go the Socceroos!!

After a great win over Japan (3-1) and a loss to Brazil (the 2-0 score greatly flattered Brazil, as Australia dominated much of the 2nd half and created many more chances) it is crunch time. Tomorrow morning (Australia time) Australia take on Croatia. A win or draw will see Australia qualify for the 2nd round for the first time ever.
Go the Socceroos!!!!!!!! C'mon Aussie C'mon C'mon etc etc etc
